Ingredients

Waffle Batter

• 375g AP flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 Tbsp baking powder
• 1 Tbsp corn starch
• 2 Tbsp brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 380 ml milk
• 50g melted butter
• 2 tsp vanilla extract

Fried Crispy Chicken

• 4 chicken legs and thighs
• flour
• 2 eggs
• panic bread crumbs
• salt
• oil fir frying

Maple Butter

• 125 ml Maple Syrup
• 80g butter
• Maldon salt

Instructions

Chicken-filled Waffle

1. Combine flour, salt, baking powder, corn starch and sugar.
2. Then mix the wet ingredients in a separate bowl: milk, melted butter, eggs and vanilla extract.
3. Then mix dry and wet ingredients together and set the batter aside.

Fried Chicken

1. Prepare the breading station by mixing eggs in a bowl.
2. Next prepare one deep plate or bowl with flour and some salt and one with with Panko breadcrumbs and salt.
3. Start by putting the chicken in the flour one at a time.
4. Then dip it into the egg, allowing the excess egg to drain back into its bowl.
5. Then dip into the Panko bread crumbs and make sure to press them in.
6. Repeat with the remaining chicken.

Maple Butter

1. Heat up maple syrup and then add cold butter in pieces till melted.
2. The sprinkle salt in to taste.
